[Class 100 (i)] A number of webs W from a rotary printing or other machine are cut, folded and delivered by apparatus which permits of varied products which may comprise two separate products corresponding to different printing formes, or in which these products are associated so as to be delivered as one product, and in each case the products may be folded either once or twice, and may be slit or not to produce narrow products or one wide product. The webs W are first cut by cylinders 12, 14, with impaling pins 18 for transferring the sheets to impaling pins 21 on a cylinder 20 which is fitted with three sets of pins 21, three grippers 22, and three folding blades 24. To produce separate products to be delivered finally to conveyers 39, the cut sheets are folded alternately by the blades 24 into jaws 31 on the two cylinders 30. From the cylinders 30 the once folded products may be folded again by a blade 33 into a jaw 35 on a delivery cylinder 36, or the blade 33 may be silenced and the once folded product taken by grippers 38 on the cylinder 36, a segmental feed roller 43 serving to assist the transfer of the once folded product. The cylinder 36 may be driven at the same speed as the cylinder 30, or at half the speed when the sheets are not collected on cylinder 30, and the delivery cylinder is fitted with a slitting disc or discs 40 which may be put out of action if desired. When the cylinder 20 acts as a collecting cylinder, one cylinder 30 is put out of action and the grippers 22 collect two sheets before the folding blades 24 come into action.
