[Class 143] A weighing machine wherein the platform moves in an inclined direction is provided with two separate devices for adjustment of the machine, one device for the use of the owner and the other for the maker's use. As shown, the platform a is supported on rollers b<1> movable on inclines c. Weighing springs x balance the load and are adjusted by the owner to correct inaccuracy of the dial reading, by means of a hook bolt 2. The movements of the platform are transmitted to the indicating pointer e by rods k, m, loose toothed sector o and pinion q. The second adjustment, for use by the maker, is effected by altering the radial position of the rod m and thus changing the throw of the toothed sector.
