562,410. Dental flasks. ATTENBOROUGH, A. G. Jan. 28, 1943, No. 1474. [Class 87 (ii)] A dental flask comprises a metal baseplate 1 having an integral upstanding portion 2 and three metal plates 3, 4, 5 hinged to the baseplate. The three hinged plates correspond respectively to the teeth on the right, front and left of the jaw, and are locked in position by means of a yoke 12. A top 25 has a plug 26 removable for knocking out the plaster. Plaster retention holes 27 are provided in the bottom, sides and top. One or more of the three hinged plates may be divided into a plurality of plates. According to the Provisional Specification, the flask may comprise either two hinged metal members having projections or depressions for retaining plaster, or a base-plate having four sections hinged thereto.
