Abstract

562,158. Davits. HUNT, J. B. March 13, 1943, No. 4153. [Class 115] Boat chocks 35 are slidably mounted on inclined runways 32 and connected to the pivoted davits 24, whereby the davits swing outboard as the chocks move. Rollers 39, 40 on the chocks engage the runways and davits respectively. Each runway comprises two spaced members between which a davit extends, a stop being provided between the members to limit outboard movement of the davit. Extensions 42 on' the runways accommodate fixed leads for the falls to the heads of the davits.
