[Class 73] In labelling bottles or other containers, a band of thermo-stretchable material, such as rubber hydrochloride, is slipped on to the bottle &c. while in a heated and stretched condition, and is allowed to shrink and cool. Alternatively, the band may be first stretched and allowed to cool in its stretched condition, then slipping this band on to a bottle &c. and shrinking it in place by the application of heat.
