Abstract

[Class 69 (iii)] An electric heater or heaters are incorporated with a spraying pistol of the kind in which the spray is induced by the action of compressed air or gas and the electric heater may be introduced into the compressed air supply pipe or on to the spray nozzle or both. As shown a heater comprising a tube g with coiled resistance wire h is introduced between the compressed air supply tube i and the pistol d an electric switch a and a conductor b being provided. A second heater g', h<SP>1</SP> is shown attached to the spray nozzle c. Thermo-plastic in the liquid state or if solid in powder form and metals of low melting point may be sprayed, being supplied through supply pipe f. Specifications 432,831 and 532,437 are referred to.
