553,281. Advertising devices. FARRELL, A. Dec. 5, 1941, No. 15696. Convention date, Jan. 8. [Class 3 (i)] Steam issues from a model or a flat representation of a tea-pot, cup, cigarette, pipe &c. 1 to simulate their appearance in use. The steam may be obtained from any source, or may be produced by a boiler 3 furnished with an electrical heating element 8 and provided with a level maintainer 4, 5. With a tea-pot or cup a continuous outflow of steam takes place, but in the case of a pipe or cigarette intermittent ejection may be produced by a ball or flap valve introduced into the supply pipe 2. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 186,550 and 213,995, [both in Class 3 (i)].
