[Class 46] [Also in Group XXIX] A spraying device for liquids comprises a strainer Q of wire mesh or gauze contained in a slotted cartridge or cage K which is retained within a grip body D by a screwed cap E to which the lance F is attached, the arrangement being such that on removal of the cap the strainer may be ejected by the pressure of the liquid. The liquid is admitted through a valve operated by a trigger C as described in Specification 494,350, [Group XXIX], or in other suitable manner, and passes through the cartridge and filter in the directions indicated by the arrows. The cap E and body D are preferably provided with lugs H, J to facilitate turning without the use of tools.
