[Class 42(i)] [Also in Group XV] Shoulder flashes and like distinguishing signs for regimental uniforms are formed by securing together textile elements 2, 3, of the requisite width and colours, with their edges 4 abutting, by adhesive tape 1 the marginal portions of which extend over the abutting elements and then cutting the composite piece of material across the length thereof to form flashes 7 of the required size; the tape may also be machined to the elements along lines 6 and a number of the flashes may be cut from the composite piece of material in one operation by a multiple knife.
