541,843. Toothed wheels. GUY, S. S. June 11, 1940, No. 10128. [Class 80 (i)] A rotatable gun-turret has a stationary internally-toothed gear ring in which the teeth are formed by securing a length of driving chain to a ring. A ring a has formed therein an annular channel c within which is secured a length of driving chain the rollers b of which serve as the gear teeth. The chain may be secured to the ring by a number of plates d, Fig. 3, secured to the ring by screws e or by spot welding and having inturned ends f adapted to engage the outer links g of the chain.
