Abstract

541,733. Compound sheet materials. GYPROC PRODUCTS, Ltd., and WRIGHT, G. C. June 7, 1940, No. 10018. [Class 140] A laminated plank, panel, slab &c. for roofs, walls, partitions &c. is formed of a number of laminations each made up of a core 33 of gypsum, plaster of Paris set within a covering 34 of paper, fabric or other fibrous flexible sheet material, the laminations being secured together by casein glue or other adhesive so as to have grooved and tongued interlocking edges 31, 32 and the whole coated with waterproof material. A tension reinforcement of woven wire mesh or perforated metal may be inserted between an outer lamina and that adjacent to it. Specification 523,264, [Group V], is referred to.
