538,501. Rotary engines. VOSSELER, H. F., PIERARD, A. W., YOUNG, W. H., and HARKNESS, B. G. A. April 27, 1940, No. 7602. [Class 110 (ii)] Three pistons 4 on a rotor 1 interact with recesses 6 in two rotary abutments 5 which are externally geared to the rotor. Inlet and exhaust passages 8, 9 on opposite sides of the abutments are connected by passages 10, 12 to pipe connections 11, 13.
