537,520. Testing ignition. AMERICAN BOSCH CORPORATION. Tan. 10, 1940, No. 576. Convention date, April 25, 1939. [Class 7 (iv)] Neon tubes or the like are capacitatively coupled to each high tension lead of a radioshielded ignition-system. The metal manifold 24 enclosing a set of leads 26 may be formed with a hollow lateral projection 31 enclosing a set of insulated sockets 33 each of which is connected to a metal sleeve 26<1> surrounding each hightension lead. For testing, the cover 32 is removed and rpelaced by a tube 40 containing plugs 37 which fit in the sockets 32, each plug being connected to a neon tube 42. -The tubes are mounted in a metal plate 41 and connected thence to the tube 40, manifold 24 and radioshield 48.
