Abstract
535,029. Washing dishes &c. BOLINDER'S FABRIKS AKTIEBOLAG. Sept. 25, 1939, No. 26618. Convention date, Sept. 26, 1938. [Class 138(i)] The full striking action of jets of washing- up water is utilized in cleansing dishes but is reduced by resistance members in the spraying chamber for lighter articles such as thin glasses while full pressure in the supply is maintained. Rinsing with fine spray remains the same in both cases. In one form, Fig. 1, a spray pipe 6 delivers water under relatively great pressure in the direction of the arrows through the bottom of a basket 4, glasses being placed bottom downwards. Pivoted screens 12 preferably perforated resist free passage of the water jets. The screens are rotated about pivots 14 into horizontal position. The screens may be operated by a rod with outside connections or the basket 4 may operate a lever. Rinsing water is supplied by nozzle 8 uninfluenced by the screens. In a modification, Fig. 2, perforated screens 20 are employed operated by jets in the direction 22 which causes them to turn horizontally. Instead of screens small rods, network or rubber sheets may be used.
