Abstract
535,007. Typewriters &c. ROYAL TYPEWRITER CO., Inc. Sept. 19, 1939, No. 2870/41. Convention date, Oct. 1, 1938. Divided out of 534,976. [Class 100 (iv)] Keys.-A transparent key-disc 11a, Fig. 1, is supported by a cup 1a and is retained by a capring 12a having a flange 14a which engages the upper part of a bevel 15a on the key-cap, Preferably the flange is flush with the key-disc and, to facilitate assembly, is formed with a bevel and can yield slightly. The key-disc may be superposed on a character-disc 9a which rests on a dished washer 8 in the cup. The keydisc may have a flat or convex base, and may be arranged within the cup. The cap-ring is secured by means of ears 16a.
