Abstract

531,386. Confectionery. THROSSELL, K. A., and GUNDRY, H. E. B. Nov. 14, 1939, No. 30027. [Class 28 (i)] [Also in Group V] Slabs of chocolate, toffee or other material adapted to be broken along weakening lines are provided, during casting, with registering grooves upon both surfaces, those on one surface being more widely spaced so that the slab may be broken into larger or smaller pieces. Each surface may be provided with intersecting grooves and the grooves may run parallel to the side or edge of the slab or at an angle thereto. As shown, the slab 1 is formed with grooves 2, 4, the grooves 4 registering with alternate grooves 2.
