531,108. Book-keeping appliances. ZSOLNAI, T. July 11, 1939, No. 20224. [Class 16] Means for making manifold book-keeping entries on, say, a journal sheet and one or more superposed account sheets comprises a base plate 1 supporting separate rows of spring-pressed clamping- pins 8, 9 for holding down the journal and account sheets respectively, the pins 8 serving as positioning stops for one edge of the account sheets, and finger-levers 14, 18 being provided for lifting either the pins 8, 9 together or the pins 9 alone. An account sheet can thus be removed after an entry has been made, whilst the journal sheet remains clamped. The pins are mounted in a casing 2 adjustable laterally of the baseplate. Adjustable stops 20 are provided for the edge of the journal sheet. Interposed carbon sheets are held by pins 24, which engage holes in the sheets. The carbon sheets are held down by a pivoted plate having holes to pass over the pins.
