[Class 99 (ii)] A stand-pipe b extends from a gas main to a surface box d and is adapted to receive a stopper comprising an inflatable bag h and a flexible tube i containing a rigid tube secured to the bottom of the bag at k and having perforations f. The tubes are fitted at the top with a gauge l, cock m and a plug o which fits into the end of the stand-pipe.
