[Class 110 (ii)] Slots 14 in the tips of the lobes of the rotors of a Roots'-blower allow passage of air to and from the hollow spaces of the rotors. The cylindrical walls of the stator are prolonged by perforated webs 15. The end walls of the stator are detachable and make spigoted joints with the stator body.
