Abstract

526,989. Coin-freed article-delivering apparatus. ARMSTRONG, J. J. V. (Seitz-Werke Ges.). March 31, 1939, No. 10045. [Classes 3 and 27 (i)] A coin-freed article-delivery machine 12, Figs. 1 and 2, is mounted in a shop window 11 on central vertical pivots 13, 16 so that it can be rotated through 180 degrees for access to be had to the machine from inside the building for refilling, adjustment, or repairs. A space 19 for the machine is enclosed by side walls 20, 21 and hinged rear walls 22. Several machines may be built side by side into the window, all or some of which are rotatable. The back of the machine may be provided with a show case. As shown in Fig. 5, three machines 32, 33, 34 are combined in a unit rotatable on a central vertical axis 35, a show case 37 being provided on the back of the unit. The side walls of the show case may be curved or bevelled. The side elements 36 of the shop window are mounted on hinges.
