[Class 55 (i)] Burning charcoal or anthracite for starting a producer is obtained in a cylinder 1 perforated at 4 and 7 and surrounded by a perforated casing 2 packed with asbestos 12. In use, the cylinder is filled with charcoal, the asbestos is soaked with paraffin and ignited, and the end 6 is fitted into the producer tuyere; the engine is then started on petrol, and the charcoal becomes ignited. The burning charcoal is then poured into the tuyeres from lips 8, 9. A handle is provided.
