521,274. Rubber buffers. HANNAH, D. M., and CLYDE RUBBER WORKS CO., Ltd. Nov. 10, 1938, Nos. 32744 and 36212. [Class 108 (iii)] A rubber buffer comprising three concentric rings 10, 12, 14 is mounted on a non-rusting plate 16 of vulcanized fibre, rustless steel, synthetic resin varnish paper board, or synthetic resin varnish fabric board. The rubber rings are united on the two sides of the plate through openings 18. The rubber rings may differ in axial length or radial thickness, and may be discontinuous to provide a knobbed construction. The buffer may be circular, oval, or rectangular.
