518,755. Photographic projection - printing apparatus. OPTIKOTECHNA SPOLECNOST S. R. O. PREROV. Sept. 5, 1938, No. 25904. Convention date; Sept. 6, 1937. [Class 98 (i)] A holder for negatives in the form of the cut film, strip film or on a glass plate for use in projection-printing apparatus comprises two jaws 13; 14, Fig. 2, and two frames 1, 2 hinged together to allow also of small movement at right angles to the plane of one frame, one of the frames being provided with a recess to receive the holder of a glass plate negative; the negative itself or a mask for which guiding means are provided. The lower frame 1 has a recess 20, Fig. 4, in which a .glass'plate 4 or a mask 3 'having guiding projections 17 for a film strip is held by turnbuttons 15, and is connected to the frame 2 by a hinge 7, 8 the part 7 having a slotted form to allow of movement apart of the frames under the influence of the springs 6. The upper frame 2 has a recess to receive a second glass plate 5. The jaws 13, 14 are pressed together by a handwheel 18 acting through a spring.
