[Class 5 (ii)] [Also in Group X] Slabs 13, 13a and horizontal members 10, 16, 20 are interlocked by tongue-and-groove connexions 11, 14 15, 17 to form portable buildings, including poultry houses (Fig. 6). Joints between adjacent horizontal elements are locked by slabs 13a overlapping the half-tongues 11a on the ends of such elements. The end walls 18 of the underside groove 17 in the inter. mediate horizontal elements 16, 20 are received in notches 19 in the slabs 13a. Transverse tiebars 21 may be interposed between the ends of contiguous elements 20 and are notched at 22 to engage the upper edges of the slabs. In the poultry house, the lower horizontal elements 10 are also grooved underneath to seat upon joists 26 supported above ground level by posts 27. Nesting boxes 32 are formed by slabs 33, 34, 35 supported by notched cross-bars 36 inserted between the ends of elements 16. The upper edges of the horizontal elements are bevelled to throw off rain.
