Abstract
517,361. Aerials. HINCHEN, D. T. June 30, 1939, No. 19050. [Class 40 (v)] An aerial, particularly suitable for an aeroplane or motor car, consists of a number of turns of bare or coated wire 11 embedded in a plate 10 of glass or other transparent dielectric, the protruding end 12 of the wire being connected to the set. The wire may be laid between two layers of glass, which are afterwards cemented together. The plate 10 may be secured to a fixed or movable support.
