Abstract

516,461. Vehicle wheels. LAMPERT, W. Nov. 19, 1938, No. 33721. [Class 144 (i)] To adapt a standard pneumatic-tyred wheel for fitment on the axle 13 of a farm cart or like vehicle, a two-part extension-hub 1, 2 is secured to the wheelcentre by bolts 5 engaging the usual attachment-holes in the wheel. The composite hub fits over the existing axle-box 8, and is shown recessed to engage lugs 9 on the axle-box and house the lynch-pin 11.
