[Class 142 (iv)] [Also in Group VIII] A woven tape, either while it is stretched or while it is temporarily set in a stretched state is woven into a fabric and then allowed to contract or treated with a liquid to remove the setting, thus effecting a shrinkage of the fabric. The tape may be at the edges or any other part of the fabric and may produce a cloque, smocking, or other effect. Specifications 316,589 [Class 120 (iii)], and 512,316 are referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 316,589, [Class 120 (iii)].
