510,773. Spectacle &c. cases. HADEN, G. H. Dec. 5, 1938, No. 35335. [Class 133] [Also in Group XX] A case for articles having polished surfaces, such as spectacles, mirrors, and powder boxes, includes a wiper attached to a member adapted to make a limited endwise sliding movement to allow it to move out to its operative position. In the spectacle case shown, the wiper 17 is attached to a strip 19 which passes through a slot 16 at the bottom of a pocket 11. When the wiper is drawn into the pocket a press stud 21 may be engaged with the complementary part 22. The spectacles are housed in a compartment 10.
