[Class 38 (iv)] [Also in Group XL] Relates to wireless direction-finding. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 discloses an arrangement, Fig. 11 (Cancelled), in which a dipole and frame combination 20, 10, is constantly rotated about an horizontal axis 81 by a motor 72, and can be orientated about a vertical axis 82 by a motor 73, the pick-up voltage being fed to a phase meter 76. The rotating coil of the meter is arranged to close one or other of a pair of contacts 80 so as to control the movement of the motor 73 until the latter automatically holds the aerial system fixed in the line of the incoming wave, as indicated by a pointer 84. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
