[Class 35] In a tool motor, the brush-holder carrier is disposed transverse to the motor access and is removable bodily through a lateral opening in the motor casing. In the form shown, the brushes axe mounted on an insulating sleeve 8 which is removable through the aperture 6<1> which also serves as an air aperture and may be covered by a gauze air filter 17 in an apertured cover 16.
