507,674. Dart - boards. MONEY, H. E., and HILLIER, T. L. Jan. 12, 1938, No. 1031. [Class 132 (iii)] In a dart-board composed of strips compressed together with their edges arranged to form the face of the board, the strips are cut from a sheet of felt. Strips 6 cut from a sheet of starched felt are compressed in a jig between wooden bars 7, 8 and held by glued backboards 9. The surface of the board is sprayed with a hardening preparation such as a mixture of copal varnish, gold size and boiled linseed oil. The board is completed by painting the surface and by applying the usual dividing rings and a face-board 4 having a circular aperture 5. In modifications, the strips are arranged in concentric circles or spirally.
