Abstract

506,137. Playing - cards. WADMAN, A. J. R. Sept. 15, 1938, No. 27013. [Class 132 (ii)] A pack of cards has each card marked with one or more letters and a number e.g. GR, and 5 as shown in Fig. 2 and comprises 56 cards. One or more packs differently marked may be used in a game, the players being dealt say 25 cards each. The cards are played from a facedown position and a player may call a word which is formed by the letters of the cards when exposed and if correct he obtains the pile in which these cards occur. A caller may be challenged before he has taken a pile and if wrong the challenger wins the pile and if right the challenger loses his pile to the pool. The winner is he who obtains all the cards ultimately or if the game stops before this he who has the highest numerical total.
