[Class 18] A dispensing receptacle for granular and like material comprises a pivoted spout 5, a tongue 9 on which overlies a depression 10 to facilitate raising of the spout. A projection 4 enters the rear of the spout to constitute the pivot. The container may be of metal, or may have a card body and metal ends, and the spout may be of metal. A label may be used as a seal.
