474,498. Collapsable showcards. BUTTERFIELD & LEWIS, Ltd. Nov. 2, 1936, No. 29821. Convention date, March 21. [Class 3 (ii)] A collapsable showcard comprises a base portion 7, Fig. 1, on which rests a receptacle to be displayed, and a portion 6 formed with a tongue 13 which engages an upper edge or circumferential part of the receptacle, a part of the rear edge 9 of the portion 7 and a part of the portion 6 being cut, for example, so as to form flaps 16, to permit overhanging of part of the receptacle rearwardly of the edge 9. When a bottle or like container is to be displayed, the tongue 13 is replaced by a part 19, Fig. 5, engaging over the neck of the bottle.
