505,475. Preserving latex. UNITED STATES RUBBER PRODUCTS, Inc. Sept. 23, 1938, No. 27823. Convention date, Nov. 18, 1937. {Class 70] Latex is preserved by incorporating therein small amounts of arsenic trioxide say À01-À1 parts per 100 parts of latex, or a basic salt thereof and a base. The base may be ammonia, sodium or potassium hydroxide, mono-, di- or tri-alkyl amines in amounts of À2-À75 parts per 100 parts of latex.
