503,800. Apparatus for cleaning watches and other small parts. LANZETTER, S. Oct. 21, 1937, No. 28667. [Class 139] Apparatus for cleaning watch and other small parts in which the parts are placed in a wire mesh basket F mounted on the vertical spindle d of an electric motor D and adapted to be submerged and rotated in a plurality of vessels E in turn, the vessels being of square crosssection, is characterized in that the motor is mounted on a flanged plate c forming the lid of the vessel in use and having two or more depending baffles c<1> which assist turbulence. The motor is supported by bracket C on a pillar, B which is square in cross-section except for the top portion so that after the bracket has been rotated upon the circular portion, the square section ensures the basket being in correct alignment with a vessel. The basket may consist of two or more nested baskets; one or more of which has compartments f<2>, or the basket may have separate segmental -compartments f<5>. One vessel E<1> contains an electric heater having a speed controller A', a pilot light a<4> and switches a<2>, a<3>.
