Abstract

501,602. Display boxes. RECKITT & SONS, Ltd., and STABLER, W. Sept. 1, 1937, No. 23921. [Class 18] A display box, of the kind adapted to be hung up in shops &c., in which several columns of superposed tins, bottles, &c. are supported in vertical channels, the lowermost article of each column being displayed through an opening in the box, is of rectangular cross section and the channels are formed by inserting into the box an independent sheet 5 creased and bent to form a back, the full width of the box. with projecting ridges 6. The box shown is a cardboard tube closed at the ends by a tuck-in lid 4 and a four-section flap 3 which is folded around a strip 7 extending from side to side of the box. For fixing the box to a wall the lid 4 has two holes 11 therein, the base has a tab 12 and a loop of tape may be attached to the bottom of the box. To facilitate removal of the tins &c. the ridges and sides are cut away at 9. An inspection opening 8 is provided. The front is cut away at 10 to show matter on the bases of the second line of bottles. U.S.A. Specification 1,898,646 is referred to.
