[Classes 70 and 87 (ii)] Pieces of amber are cleansed without removing the natural film of disintegration and are pressed into a block in a heated cylinder, the temperature being preferably 200 to 300‹ C. and the pressure 200 to 300 kgms. per sq. cm.
