[Class 142 (ii)] The warp threads 1, 2 pass through healds 6 arranged in sets each supported by rings 5 which permit of free circumferential movement of the healds and the warp threads are pressed radially for shedding purposes by plates 17 carried by radially guided slides 18 operated by cams 23. The set or sets of healds 6, which are free to be moved by their warp threads is determined by stops 7 under the control of cams 11 in the rotating frame 12. This frame 12, by means of the rollers 28, 29, causes the rotation of the spider 25 carrying the cams 23. The plates 17 overlap each other and may be bent as shown in Fig. 3.
