497,128. Necktie &c. holding-devices. BRANDTNER, W. March 25, 1938, No. 9150. [Class 43] A combined necktie holding and collar point stiffening device comprises a plate 1, adapted to the shape of the collar, having stiff-depending arms 11, which may be integral with the plate 1. In the form shown, the arms 11 are frictionally adjustable in slots 10 and are provided with pin points 13. The plate 1 takes over the collar stud at 2 and is provided with projections 8 to prevent lateral movement of the tie which is knotted about a rubber ring stretched about notches 4 in the sides of the plate 1 and also tensioned over a hook-like projection 7 at the rear of the plate 1.
