495,649. Pneumatic tyres. HENLEY'S TYRE & RUBBER CO., Ltd., and STANLEY, H. T. May 19, 1937, No. 13982. [Class 144 (ii)] Pneumatic tyres having slightly convex treads of a width approximately 80 per cent of the over-all width of the tyre are formed with lateral extensions 1 by which the tread width is increased up to 95 per cent of the maximum side-wall width, the extensions having undercut sides merging into the shoulder-portions 4 of the tyre.
