Abstract

The inner surfaces of tanks and pipes holding and conveying liquids such as benzine, benzene and methanol are coated with cement which is allowed to harden in a moist atmosphere and which is then treated with soluble salts of fluosilicic acid forming insoluble fluorides with the coating.
