Abstract
493,199. Hand-grips. CROVATTO, M. May 4, 1938, No. 13372. [Class 103 (iv)] [Also in Group XIV] A hand-grip for vehicles comprises a loop B, Fig. 1, secured to a pin c, Fig. 2, which is rotatably mounted in a member a secured to the body work and is biassed by a spring e so as normally to maintain the loop B in a horizontal position. The loop, of fabric, for instance, with a stiffening of leather or other material, is secured to the pin c by means of a sleeve h, Fig. 4, which embraces the pin and is secured thereto by a key l and which has an extension k to which the ends of the loop B are clamped by a metal binding R, S, which engages projections p on the extension k. A sheath t, Fig. 1, may cover the ends of the loop.
