493,029. Hand irons. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. April 27, 1938, No. 12633. Convention date, April 28, 1937. [Class 138 (ii)] In an electric iron wherein the cover plate 4 is positioned by a peripheral shoulder 2 standing up from the sole plate 1, in order to prevent undue heat conduction the shoulder is provided with lugs 3 on which the lower edge of the cover rests.
