Abstract

In producing magnetic cores from a mixture of finely divided magnetic material and a hardenable binding medium the mixture is compressed during moulding by two or more movable rams or plungers acting from two or more sides. The plungers may act simultaneously or successively and preliminary pressing may be effected by one plunger alone.
