Abstract

486,957. Cases for bottles. NO-NAIL CASES PROPRIETARY, Ltd., and KAMPER, A. M. Nov. 12, 1936, No. 30955. [Class 18] Bottles are positioned in a case by means of three apertured sheets 3, 3a of plywood, &c., the bodies of the bottles being supported by the sheets 3, and the necks by the sheet 3a against which the shoulders of the bottles abut. The tops of the bottles may abut the sheets 3 or, in the case of long-necked bottles, the necks may pass through and be supported in apertures in these sheets. The three sheets are held together by spacing bars 10 or by means of elastic bands passing round them. To obtain access to the bottles, the rack and its contents must be lifted out of the case but if the latter is open at one or both ends, single bottles may be withdrawn. According to the Provisional Specification the rack may comprise only two apertured sheets.
