Abstract

386,401. Packing bottles. BROWN, H. J. STUART-, BROWN, C. STUART-, and BROWN, G. STUART-, 204, Polmadie Road, Glasgow. Dec. 1, 1931, No. 33256. [Class 94 (i).] In packing bottles in a case 7, a rectangular perforated strawboard &c. plate 2 is threaded upon the neck of each bottle, and a tubular distance piece 3 is added. The dimensions are such that, when packed neck-to-base as shown, each bottle is held against endwise movement by the distance piece 3, and against contact with the surrounding bottles by the plate 2. In a modification, two plates and distance pieces may be applied to each bottle.
