[Class 79 (i)] [Also in Group XXII] A track shoe for an endless track comprises a recessed sheet-metal stamped holder provided with longitudinal and lateral ribs 2, 3, and to the inner surface of which a rubber cushion R is vulcanized. The shoe is formed with raised edges 1 and is secured to its track link (not shown) by screws engaging screw threads located in recesses 4. The screws may engage nuts 6 secured in the recesses 4 by bending over the walls 7 of the recesses, or stamped holes may be enlarged by pressing to form flanges 5 in which screw threads are cut.
