480,725. Kinematograph apparatus. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., and BOWEN, A. Aug. 31, 1936, No. 23801. [Class 97 (i)] In sprocket wheels comprising two toothed rollers 10 free on their shaft 12 and coupled thereto by one or more levers 11 pivoted on the shaft, a resilient connection is provided between each lever end and one of the rollers. As shown, a sleeve 13 secured to the shaft carries the lever pivot 14, and the lever ends centrally engage spring strips 15 secured at their ends to the rollers. According to the Provisional Specification, the lever ends may engage notches in the sides of the rollers, and the lever may be replaced by a gear wheel or sector engaging teeth on the sides of the rollers, flexible material being suitably interposed if desired. Specification 199,761, [Class 97 (i)], is referred to.
