[Class 140] [Also in Group XXXVI] An electrostatic screen for cables consists of a metallized supporting body of polyvinyl chloride, after chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, or mixed polymerizates of vinyl chloride and acrylic acid ester on which the metal is provided. The metal layer may be sprayed, stuck or otherwise deposited on one or both sides of the supporting body and may be covered with a further layer of polyvinyl chloride &c.
